Beautiful buffalo carved from septarian nodule with turquoise horns and eyes by Zuni artist Lynn Quam. The buffalo represents good medicine, the fulfillment of powers and steadfast endurance. The buffalo was the mainstay of the Plains Indians and was used for food as well as shelter, clothing and weapons.
