This wonderful lidded pot was handbuilt and handpainted and etched by Mata Ortiz resident Gabriela Corona. This piece has painted and etched owls perched around the pot. I particularly like the lid that is in the shape of a owl. Because owl is a silent hunter, he is often revered by those who provide food for the people. Pottery ring included.<.25/p>
