1990s Native American Navajo Made Night Sky Necklace by Calvin Begay

This spectacular Sterling silver link necklace is inlaid with onyx, Sterling silver, opal, turquoise and coral was created by Navajo silversmith Calvin Begay. The "night sky" is filled with stars, planets and comets. The detail work is pristine. The thirteen panels are individual works of art. The center panel is 1.25 inches wide and one inch tall. The panels reduce in size to the last inlaid one which is .5 inch wide by .375 inches tall. An amazing piece of Native American art to wear, complete with safety chain.
