At Kachina House we carry a vast selection of Wholesale Native American handmade jewelry, including earrings, rings, bracelets, coral jewelry and turquoise jewelry, bolo ties, belt buckles and many other Native American pieces of wearable art pieces.

Native American jewelry making falls into two categories. There is metalwork, which consists of working metals into different components that are then fashioned into earrings, pendants and more. The technique of silversmithing came from the Spanish in the 1800s and since then, the Pueblo, Hopi and Navajo people have practiced and made it their own.

The second category of Native American jewelry is beadwork. This type of jewelry-making was already advanced in Native American culture, intricately grinding turquoise, coral, and shell together to create a heishi necklace. The technique also included the carving of individual bead pieces from wood and bone, and then carefully stitching these unique beads together to create one masterpiece.

Every tribe crafted their own style of jewelry, offering slight variations between designs since the necessary supplies to craft these delicate accessories were major trade items among Native Americans.
