Turquoise, Glass and Ghost Bead Bracelet by Andrea Begay

These wonderful simple single strand bracelets of glass beads, turquoise and ghost beads were handcrafted by Navajo silversmith Andrea Begay. Ghost beads are dried juniper or cedar berries that are usually lightly smoked and strung in a classic manner; they are thought to represent a connection between the earth, trees, animals and humans. The jewelry is said to bring peace, harmony and safety to the wearer. These are very festive bracelets worn as a group or individually. Lobster claw closures.
