This beautiful maiden with a classic Acoma water pot (olla) on her head is a testament to the women and their crucial task of bringing water to the home. The whorls on the sides of her head, behind the "wings" indicate she is a maiden. She wears earrings of shell with a variety of natural stones set like a mosaic indicitive of the New Mexican pueblo artists. She has a couple necklaces of penshell one has a petrified wood stone set in Sterling silver. She is wrapped in a classic floral pattern and leather. A spectacular piece by Robert.
