Zuni Carved Corn Maiden Fetish--Double by Sandra Quandelacy

These beautiful Corn Maidens were carved from shell and accented with turquoise, coral and jet by Sandra Quandelacy. One side of this carving shows a young woman with all the "fruit" of the corn. The other side shows a mature woman dressed in traditional clothing. These Corn Maidens reflect the lifetime of a woman.
