This sweet bear with spirit lines was carved by Zuni artist Carl Etsate from septarian alabaster and finished with turquoise eyes and a spirit line of turquoise and one of pipestone. Bear is the guardian of the West. Bear is associated with great strength and is considered to be a powerful healer.
